V. President’s Remarks
Dan thanked the TTAI Board and members for all the hard work that goes into putting on this convention. We have several new Board members who have really stepped up. All Board members are very busy people who then volunteer to work to make this all work. Jake Carter has done an excellent job as Convention Chair. Mark Hernandez has done a great job in the Supply Room. All others – too many to thank. We have excellent Judges and want to thank them for their work. All members should encourage those who are learning taxidermy. That is what this organization is about. If any of you have a problem or concern please approach any Board member directly. Give us a chance to help resolve it. Tomorrow evening at our awards banquet we are going to discuss those who members we have lost this past year – Bob Wilkins, Linda Rheinlander (Terry’s wife) and Bob Turner. We pray for their families. Also the family of Tom Piwitz has asked for our thoughts and prayers. Tom owns South Texas Fur Dressing and was the second president of the TTAI. He is very ill.
