TTAI Youth are defined as children under the age of 18 years of age.
Youth have the following benefits in the TTAI:
- Free membership*
- Free convention registration
- Free Youth Division competition**
- Reduced banquet ticket prices for children 12 and under
The Youth Division has expanded from two age groups to three age groups.
This offers youth increased opportunity for competition at no charge in the Youth Division. This also expands opportunity for prizes in the Youth Division competition at the annual TTAI Convention and Competition:
- Children up to age 8
- Youth age 9 through age 14
- Youth age 15 through age 17*
Please note that any child/youth competitor under 18 years of age must be enrolled in the free Youth TTAI
membership. This assures that as the youth competitor becomes an adult competitor their TTAI member ID number and any competition points/awards records will stay with them. Please go to ttai.onefireplace.org.
Helpful membership tips – When creating a membership account pleases note that a unique email address is required for each member. The database uses the email address as the primary identifier for each member. Also, be sure to enter the youth’s date of birth to assure they are in the correct Youth age group for competition.
**Youth may compete in other Divisions or Categories such as Amateur, Professional or Photography. Competing beyond the Youth Division - does require payment of the usual competition fee for the other division or category.
